Staffordshire New Agenda

Staffordshire CBA County have now agreed to a New Agenda. This section will get Updated when new points are raised and agreed. Please note this section is important for everyone in Staffordshire from Past, Current, New and Potential Players and also to the Senior Committee   

1.      The New Selection Committee as of May 4th 2010 now consists of 6 people, Mick Brown (Chairman), Ant Aldridge, Dave Bate, Andy Cowan, Mark Clayton (Captain), Dave Wright (Captain)

2.      Practice Book will be re-Introduced at Home Games with a minimum of 6 hours practice to be put in. If this is not possible please contact the Team Manager as early as possible.

3.      Programmes will now have a charge of £1. There will be allot more information in the programmes for the near future.

4.      Posters will be created prior to County matches and sent to every Club or within the catchment area of the County Match. We will also be sending to local community Centres, such as Libraries etc.

5.      Any Player being left out the side will have a personal phone from one of the Team Selectors, prior to the team being announced.

6.      Practice Games will be Re-Introduced possibly on the Wednesday before the Match. The format will be conducted  with the same preparation to the County Game

7.      There will be 2 Players meeting in closed season. All Players must attend if they wish to be selected to play for the County. Any Player who can’t make the meeting to contact Team Managers ASAP

8.      Any player who feels unhappy with decisions made please contact the Team Managers to discuss (They have welcomed this request) or contact Ant Aldridge.

9.      Home Captains to have regular contact with the Greens man 2 weeks prior to the match so the green is consistently cut.

10.  All Players currently in the squad to feed availability to the Team Selectors for the coming Season.

11.  Selection process will be looked at and monitored closely in the future, with the Alliance being taken more seriously and a stepping stone to move that next step into the Seniors. With Exception to Established inform Players proven from stats or comp wins

12.  Captains to ensure Clubs give each other better support in County Matches.

13.  On selection of greens the committee now has information on players preferred greens which will be taken into consideration in every home game
